F&B Manager

Our client, prestigious hotel groupis seeking to recruit an F&B Manager for the 5* Hotel Resort in Larnaca.

 

Job Role

  • Manage all F&B operations in the resort and delivering excellent guest experience
  • Forecasts, plans and controls the ordering of food and beverages
  • Manages the finances related to the whole process of purchasing food and beverages for the resort premises

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth and effective running of the resort’s Food and Beverage outlets and the co-ordination for various functions, activities, events etc
  • In charge of the operation, supervision and operational management of all resort F&B outlets
  • Ensure that all new employees are given the training and development necessary for their jobs.  In charge of the training and induction of all new and existing staff on an ongoing basis in order to ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction at all times
  • Oversee the implementation of agreed training plans to ensure that all targets are achieved
  • Ensure that standards of food and beverage meet/exceed expectations
  • Supervise all Bar, Restaurant and Room Service personnel, organise work specifications and schedules
  • Ensure and maintain high standards of service delivery, safety, hygiene, security, discipline and compliance with legislative requirements and the resort’s Policies and Procedures
  • Monitor food and beverage costs, setting prices and analysing financial performance
  • Prepare the annual business plan for the department
  • Organise food and beverage promotions and advertising
  • Coordinate the ordering of food stock and other supplies where necessary and work closely with the Stores, Kitchen and the Cost Controller

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of previous experience as an F&B Manager at a 5* Hotel/Resort or fine dining environment
  • BSc Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts
  • Computer literate
  • Extensive F&B knowledge
  • Fluent English is required; Knowledge of Greek and other languages is desirable
  • To be able to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Promotes cooperation & commitment within a team
  • Inspiring and motivating others while being caring and understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in handling staff relations and/or guest complaints
  • Passionate in delivering exceptional levels of guest service
