Description
Our client, prestigious hotel group, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and innovative Hotel Manager for the 5* hotel in Agios Stefanos, Greece who will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of the hotel operation and staff hiring.
The 5* hotel is a boutique hotel with 17 boho-luxe rooms for cosy residential amenities, indulgent chilling and private party buyouts.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage the hotel staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and hotel profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality across all hotel areas.
  • Monitor and manage the hotel’s financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to effectively promote the hotel.
  • Oversee staff training and development, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
  • Firm understanding of laws and regulations.
  • To ensure that all Hotel’s licenses are renewed on time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Hotel Manager for a luxury resort property, preferably within Europe.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Robust personality with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • High level of organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of Food & Beverage with a high-volume luxury environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role preferably at operations level, within a mixture of luxury and diverse environments.
  • Strong fiscal and budget planning capability
  • Good at interpersonal skills and building relationships
