The Sales Engineer plays a key role in expanding the commercial network, strengthening relationships with contractors and design professionals, and increasing the specification of company systems in construction projects across Cyprus.
This is a field-based role, combining commercial development (approx. 60%) with technical support and training (approx. 40%). The role requires someone who is equally comfortable discussing technical solutions and building long-term commercial relationships.
Key Objectives (First Year)
- Grow and strengthen the commercial partner network
- Increase visibility and specification of systems in construction projects
- Build a strong, qualified project pipeline
- Establish trust with contractors, architects, engineers, and distributors
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, architects, engineers, and project owners
- Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion
- Monitor project pipelines and ensure early involvement at specification stage
- Represent the company in the market as a trusted technical and commercial partner
Technical Support & Project Coordination
- Provide technical support to commercial partners, contractors, and design offices
- Coordinate and follow projects from design stage through execution
- Support correct system selection and application
- Deliver technical presentations and seminars at the training center and partner facilities
Reporting & Internal Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of activities and projects in CRM
- Prepare basic reports and updates for management
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to support sales and project execution
Territory & Travel
- Primary focus: Limassol and Paphos
- Occasional activity in Nicosia and Larnaca
- Regular travel within Cyprus (2–3 days per week)
- Occasional international travel for training (1–2 times per year)

Candidate Profile
Education
- Engineering degree required
- Civil or Architectural Engineering preferred
- Other engineering backgrounds acceptable with relevant experience
Experience
- 2–5 years in technical sales, project support, or specification roles
- Background in building materials, construction, insulation, or related B2B environments
- Experience working with contractors, architects, engineers, or distributors
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to combine technical knowledge with commercial thinking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- CRM experience desirable
- Valid driving license
Languages
- Fluent Greek required
- English is a strong advantage
